Hi, Duchas.ie is a spectacular open data project, transcribing tens of thousands of irish folklore stories that were collected in the first half of the 20th century. The data is licensed under CC-BY-NC, and there are XML representations of each book, chapter, story and so on. I believe the same goes for logainm.ie (similar, for placenames). This data is partly the responsibility of the Dept of Culture Heritage and Gaeltacht their logo is at the bottom of the pages, at least, so it should be displayed on data.gov.ie if only just to make it more discoverable to people. This data already exists and only needs an entry on data.gov.ie.

    Any update? This would be an extremely high quality dataset to have on data.gov.ie.

    In fact Logainm even has fully linked data and a SPARQL instance, making it 5-star data http://data.logainm.ie/sparql
