Provenance information The shape file produced for the Coastal Monitoring Project (Coastal_Monitoring_Project_2004_2006) was compared to aerial photographs dating to 2005. In some cases, habitats which were visible on the aerial photographs were not indicated on the Coastal Monitoring Project shapefile. Likely locations were visited during the Sand Dunes Monitoring Project to ascertain whether previously unrecorded habitats were present. If a field survey confirmed that some habitats had gone unrecorded, the Coastal Monitoring Project shapefile was edited to include the habitats. There area eight columns in the attributes table: The dataset was quality checked within NPWS for topology and attribution errors and is in line with NPWS data standards.
