Unpublished Report to the Department of Agriculture and the National Parks & Wildlife Service.. Searches for badger setts were made at 729 pre-selected 1km squares from across the country. Setts were classified, mapped and associated habitat data were recorded Data Capture Purpose: The suvey was undertaken to obtain baseline data on the distribution and abundance of badgers in Ireland. Original Format: Data imported into Recorder 6 from MS Access files.
