Call for applications for Public Service Innovation Fund now open

Public servants are invited to make applications to a pilot competitive Fund which aims to support innovative ideas and projects from across public service organisations.

The Fund aims to support innovative ideas from across Public Service organisations and turn them into a reality with funding available of up to €50,000. For exceptionally strong projects funding of up to €100,000 may be granted. If you work in the Public Service and you have a great idea that can add value to your organisation or improve services for the public, this fund will support you in turning your idea into a reality.

Innovative projects are sought that can be realised in 2019, projects that are scalable and ideas that are transferable within the Public Service.     It is important that projects have a strong focus on outcomes and impact.  One of the impact measures used is 'greater availability of open or re-usable data'. 

The 2019 call for applications is now open and applications should be received by 12th June 2019 to innovation@per.gov.ie.
