Open Data Training - Spring 2026 Courses

The Open Data Team in the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digtialisation are proud to partner with the Institute of Public Adminsitration to deliver an expanded range of open data training courses for the public service in 2026. These courses will be an essential resource in supporting organisations to not only meet their open data compliance obligations but maximise the use of open data for better public services and policy.
Areas covered will include open data publication and use, data analytics and visualisation, data protection and more and courses will be offered in both online and in-person formats.
The training is designed for all civil and public service staff who want to understand open data principles and their application. It is particularly relevant for policy makers, data managers, digital transformation leads, communications professionals, and anyone involved in information management or service delivery.
