The latest Construction Status Report shows that 9,935 social homes were onsite at the end of Q1 2026, with an additional 13,322 homes at design and tender stage – a cumulative total of 23,257 social homes at the design and construction stages. In total, the Construction Status Report provides details on 52,523 new-build social homes across 3,208 schemes
