Galway has a significant number of expansive views, many of which are readily recognisable on postcards, brochures and websites. The Schedule of Protected Views and the accompanying map identifies 52 Viewing Points. Note that these should be examined alongside the designated Scenic Routes and Sensitivity Map. Galway County Council provides this information with the understanding that it is not guaranteed to be accurate, correct, or complete.
