Provenance information Data created from review of museums, collections and archives details. This involved amalgamating existing databases to create a comprehensive singular database. Local Authority Heritage Officers were then consulted on validity of entries within their geographic areas. All entries within the dataset were then proofed via phone and email to ensure accuracy of information. Data is of high quality as of May 1st 2015, but subject to change on a constant basis as facilities open & close, operate on a seasonal basis and alter contact details.
