This dataset contains information on the location architectural conservation areas (ACAs) in Cork City Council, as identified in the Cork City Council Development Plan 2022-2028. An ACA is a place, area, group of structures or townscape that is: of special architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, cultural, scientific, social or technical interest or value; or contributes to the appreciation of protected structures. The data is used to inform planning policy and to guide appropriate development. This data layer is provided for informational purposes only.
