Architectural Conservation Areas

This dataset contains information on the location architectural conservation areas (ACAs) in Cork City Council, as identified in the Cork City Council Development Plan 2022-2028. An ACA is a place, area, group of structures or townscape that is: of special architectural, historical, archaeological, artistic, cultural, scientific, social or technical interest or value; or contributes to the appreciation of protected structures. The data is used to inform planning policy and to guide appropriate development. This data layer is provided for informational purposes only. It may be updated, corrected, or replaced in the future; users are advised that this layer was last reviewed for updates on the 10th March 2026.
