Driving better public services through smarter data. The SSB041F Framework is available to support Ireland’s public sector. Ireland’s public sector has streamlined access to expert support in Open Data publication, strategic data management, and digital platform solutions. This initiative empowers the public sector to meet their obligations under the EU Open Data Directive while unlocking the full value of their data to deliver more transparent, efficient, and impactful public services.
The SSB041F Multi-Supplier Framework is a powerful tool helping public bodies unlock the full potential of their data. Launched by the Office of Government Procurement (OGP), this framework provides streamlined access to expert services in Open Data publication, data management, and strategic consultancy aligned with Ireland's Open Data Strategy and the EU Open Data Directive.
What is in the Framework?
The framework is divided into three service categories:
- Data Management: From data audits to publication planning, suppliers help public bodies assess, clean, and prepare datasets for release.
- Fully Hosted Open Data Platforms: Ready-to-use solutions for publishing and managing datasets securely and efficiently.
- Ad Hoc Consultancy & Support Services: Strategic advice, training, API development, and support for building a vibrant open data ecosystem.
Public bodies can use this framework to save time, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality outcomes. The framework supports everything from one-off data projects to long-term platform solutions. Interested public bodies simply complete a Notification to Activate Services Form (NASF), which the Office of Government Procurement uses to initiate engagement with the top-ranked supplier. It is a fast, transparent process designed to get projects moving.
Whether you are a local authority, government department, or public agency, the SSB041F framework is your gateway to better data practices and more impactful open data publication.
