This dataset consists of a series a weekly tables summarising the volume of pedestrian traffic passing by the south side of Main Street in Gorey, Co. Wexford, every 15 minutes. Each table contains the following fields:

  1. Town: this field indicates the town where the sensor is located.

  2. County: this field indicates the county where the sensor is located.

  3. Street_Name: this field indicates the name of the street where the sensor is located.

  4. Sensor_ID: this field contains an unique ID for the device that was used to capture the data.

  5. Latitude: this field contains the latitude of the device that was used to capture the data.

  6. Longitude: this field contains the longitude of the device that was used to capture the data.

  7. Date: this field contains the date of each given record (yyyy-mm-dd)

  8. Time: this field contains the timestamp of each record.

  9. Direction_West: this field contains the number of pedestrians moving from East to West.

  10. Direction_East: this field contains the number of pedestrians moving from West to East.

  11. Year: this field contains the year in which the record was captured.

  12. Week_Year: this field contains the number of the week of the year in which the record was captured.

Please note that: Records start on the 20th of January 2022. Records are captured every 15 minutes. If a 15-minute interval is missing, it means that there was no traffic in that time interval. The name of each table contains the year and the number of the week in which the corresponding records were captured. Any gaps in the time series are due to sensor’s malfunctioning.
