SeaRover2018 ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Holland (Marine Institute, Ireland) underwater video files collected during SeaRover 2018 research cruise onboard Irish Lights Vessel Granuaile between 2 July 2018 - 22 July 2018. SeaRover stands for Sensitive Ecosystem Assessment and ROV Exploration of Reef. This survey was commissioned by the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS), funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), and coordinated and led by INFOMAR (Integrated Mapping for the Sustainable Development of Ireland?s Marine Resources) and Ireland?s Marine Institute. 52 ROV transects were surveyed. The vessel travelled 2173 km, 119 hours were spent sampling and recording HD video on the seabed. The ROV surveyed 119.75 km of seafloor whilst collecting 34 biological specimens and 44 sediment samples. During processing videos for each dive had been converted from Linear PCM, Apple ProRes 422, Timecode to AAC, H.264 CODEC, merged and exported at 1080 resolution. This dataset consists from 52 video files, which are stored in Marine Institute on a hard drive. The overall digital size of this dataset is 508GB. Navigation problems were encountered during few dives, namely: Dive526_RB02, Dive527_RB03, Dive528_RB26, Dive529_ RB27, Dive549_PB05. Thus, these dive tracks were not included in the corresponding shapefile. However, video footage for these dives was processed as for other dives and is included in this dataset. None
