Provenance information Provision of Bathing Water Location designations by the Local Authorities of Ireland annually as part of the requirement for each LA to supply the EPA with a Bathing Water Profile for each bathing water in their areas. Lake Water Bodies that intersect with the Bathing Water Locations were selected to form the Register of Protected Areas protected Surface Water Bodies under the Bathing Water Quality Act.
