Fisheries survey into the abundance and distribution of species in the Celtic Sea and North Atlantic Ocean. The aim of this survey programme is to assess the northeastern Atlantic mackerel and horse mackerel stock. Plankton samples are collected via a Gulf III plankton sampler; mackerel and horse mackerel eggs are extracted, counted and stage. Survey the abundance and distribution of Mackerel and Horse Mackerel.
