The ROMS (Regional Ocean Modeling System) hydrodynamic model is run for a domain that covers the Irish waters in the northeast Atlantic. The ROMS model also includes two nested models with a horizontal resolution of 200-250m. The nested models are:

• Bantry Bay Model - Particle Track Analysis
• Connemara model

The Ocean state at the surface, 20m and bottom of the water column in Bantry Bay and Mizen Head are included in the Bantry Bay model. Dataset parameters include: time, release location, longitude, latitude, particle hours and particle track.
