A number of important scenic routes which require protection have been identified in Co. Monaghan. Any development that would interfere with or adversely impact on these scenic routes will not be permitted. These Views from Scenic Routes are listed in Appendix 2 and illustrated on Map 6.1, County Monaghan Development Constraints, of the Monaghan County Development Plan 2025 - 2031.
