Small Business Innovation Research initative - Smart Dublin launch of Phase 2 Solutions 11th of April
9 April 2018Smart Dublin is launching Phase 2 of the Small Business and Innovation Research (SBIR) projects for Wayfinding, Flooding (Gully Monitoring) and Illegal Dumping. Since last year the companies have been collaborating with local authorities to find solutions to these challenges through a competitive process (http://smartdublin.ie/challenges/ ). This is a pre-commercial procurement process administered in partnership with Enterprise Ireland with benefits for SME’s, start ups and local authorities to test and trial these scalable solutions across Dublin.
On the 11th of April, the 8 successful companies will be pitching their solutions in the Wood Quay Venue in Dublin City Council with an opportunity to network with the companies after the event.
The solutions focus around: data analytics, drone technology, low cost smart cameras, sensor technology and the use of IOT networks.
