Measuring the Impact of Open Data in Ireland

Help us to understand how Open Data is being used in Ireland!

                                                                                                                                We need your input!

The National Open Data Impact Measurement Survey takes just 10 minutes to complete

and will help the Open Data Unit understand the practical impact of Open Data.

The research aims to:

1) help understand how Open Data is currently being used by the public, businesses, and government organisations in Ireland,

2) understand the impact of published and used open datasets (economic, social, environmental, and political), and

3) develop potential indicators to measure the impact of Open Data and Open Data Initiatives. The project will generate showcases, impact stories, use cases, and potential indicators which can be used to measure the impact of open data initiatives in the future. Results of the project will be published as open data on the Irish Open Data Portal.
