Open Data training is once again available to Public Sector employees. Your organisation can book individual or group training courses via the Training Framework organised by the Open Data Unit in cooperation with the Office of Government Procurement (OGP). The event was opened by Assistant Secretary Marianne Cassidy (Public Service Reform and Delivery, Dept. Public Expenditure and Reform), followed by a series of national and international speakers that have developed Open Data initiatives in the area of sport and recreation linked to health and wellbeing.

The conference was opened by Minister of State, Ossian Smyth, TD and very well attended with over 300 people logging in remotely. The keynote speaker was Stefaan Verhulst, cofounder of GovLab in New York, his topic was ‘Towards a Purpose and Question-driven Open Data Ecosystem’.
