Provenance information There are 13 OTT Orphimedes Water Level Recorders in operation in the catchment, which take a reading every 15 minutes, and again these are downloaded every 4 to 6 weeks to a laptop using an IR link. These instruments pump a bubble of air down a narrow tube into the river or lake. The pressure required to pump this air is a reflection of the water level. Quality control applied to data managed by the Migratory Fish team.
