Survey on qualitative air quality data.

11 October 2017

Survey on qualitative air quality data.

The EPA currently has an open data consortium project running on air quality data and one of their first activities is to find out the current status of air quality data “open-ness” and what barriers users/potential users of near real time air quality open data are facing.

The EPA would appreciate any help you could give to enable them get good Irish representation in the survey.  This would mean that the project would be taking Irish issues into account as well as those from the project partners in Norway and Flanders.  Survey details and link are as follows:

The CORONA-EU team invites you to participate in their survey to measure the awareness about qualitative air quality data. It will measure the current status of the availability and quality of data as well as what you expect about qualitative data.

The Survey itself will take less than 10 minutes and the CORONA EU team will share the survey outcome with you.   Link to the survey: https://goo.gl/forms/NrNl854UXCkz6DvA3

The CORONA-EU project aims at ensuring the availability of reliable, harmonised air quality data on the European Data Portal. The project will provide a methodology for all EU/EEA Member States to publish air quality data in an interoperable and standardised manner. Corona EU will build quality assurance tools to streamline the assimilation of raw data into trusted data suitable for publication as open data; finally, it will create an EU-wide assessment model to analyse the impact to users of publishing open-air quality data. The Corona EU project is co-financed by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility.
